Fatal error when search is submit in fuel backend

I don't know exactly what caused this, but everytime i hit search in the fuel backend (on any section: blog posts, users etc) i always get this fatal error

So i went out and looked inside /modules/fuel/controllers/module.php and i see that lines 137 to 140 are commented out.

 $seg_params = $params;
 unset($seg_params['offset']);
 $seg_params = uri_safe_batch_encode($seg_params, '|', TRUE);

I've uncommented them, and while the errore has now gone, i get sent to a 404 page. The strange thing is, when i hit 'back' i see the results of my search...

Don't know if this is interesting or not, but when i hit search for say 'test' this is what ends in my URL address bar

1) Are those lines in module.php supposed to stay commented?
2) What might be causing this?

I believe that was a bug that has been fixed in the most recent version of FUEL but please let me know if that issue persists.

do you mean latest github version? i'm on 0.9.3

The latest found here (which is still operating under the 0.9.3). We push updates to the main branch a few times a week.
