Fuel CMS in XAMPP, unable to access admin

Hi all,

I am doing a fresh installation of Fuel CMS which was downloaded from GIT Hub(daylightstudio-FUEL-CMS-v0.9.3-2-g1c9f1d4.zip).

I made the db installations and things. When I try to access the URL http://localhost/fuelcms/ I am able to see the index page. However, I am unable to access the admin page via http://localhost/fuelcms/fuel. When I try to access this, I am seeing the XAMPP index page.

I have set the admin enabled to true in the MY_fuel.php. I am not sure whats that I am missing. Any help would be appreciated.

Well even accessing http://localhost/fuelcms/index.php/fuel shows the same behavior

It worked when I changed the .htaccess in fuel cms to RewriteBase /fuelcms
