.htaccess

I see that the htaccess comes with FUEL. do we move this file once we add the rewrite conditions out of the applications folder to the root. Or is the root considered the application folder?
You need to document this in the installation process better.

    The .htaccess should stay right next to the index.php file. The RewriteBase in the .htaccess may need to be changed if your FUEL installation is in a subfolder on your webserver (e.g. http://localhost/my_fuel_site/ would have a RewriteBase of /my_fuel_site/). I'm not quite sure I understand what you mean by "rewrite conditions out of the applications folder to the root".
