Required date field

Hi,

Is it possible to set a field thats a date field to be required? Im sure i've done this before but the site im working on saves when no date selected using calendar.

I have public $required = array('arrival_date'); in the model that extends Base_module_model (simple module)

That looks like a bug. I've posted a fix for that. It had to do with the models default_date property being set to '0000-00-00' which is seen as "not empty". It was changed to 0 and it now should work.
