Blog post layout

I've installed the blog module. I customised the layout of the main blog page in /themes/default/_layouts/blog.php. The problem is that when I open a blog article (post) in browser, this one has the layout of blog.php and also the post content does not change, it stays the same for all the articles. What am I doing wrong? I suppose the post should have a different layout

What are the URI paths you are using (e.g. /blog, /blog/2016/08/01/my-slug)
