Replacing Dwoo

Just wondering if Dwoo was going to be replaced in any future releases. I just went to the Dwoo site to get more information about it and it said that it is at its end of life.

    Not immediately but it looks like we'll need to. Out of curiosity, do you have a preference for templating languages (trying to get a gauge as to where to make the investment)?

    To be honest, I really don't have a preference. I will spend some time though looking into some that play nicely with CodeIgniter.

    That would be great. I've used Mustache before and Twig is pretty popular (do people use Smarty anymore)?.

    To be honest, I only use the templating syntax when I really need to and extract out more complicated logic into blocks that I can pass parameters to if necessary.

    I have seen very few projects recently using smarty recently. I basically do the same thing as you do.
