Is it possibible to have the admin menu NOT collapsed by default?

    When you say admin menu, do you mean the inline editing menu when viewing a page or the CMS admin menu on the left side. If the latter, that gets cookied but by default should be open.

    I mean the CMS admin menu on the left side. So the state is rembered by cookie? That's an elegant solution. However, as I do see an encrypted cookie containing the word leftnav, closing menus, loggin out and in again does not return the menus in the state as they were. I have tested this with FF, IE and Chrome. Any thoughts?

    Did you try deleting the cookie? Logging in and out won't delete that particular cookie.

    Yes I tried that. It does work within the session. But the cookie gets destroyed when I log out.

    So are you wanting the cookie state of the UI to persist after logging out (e.g. the collapsed menu state in the left menu?

    Yes, I would like that.

    Unfortunately that is part of the logout process found in Fuel_auth::logout.
