Validate Module Incompatible with 1.4?

So this is the PHP error being echoed to the screen after installing the module

Message: Declaration of Fuel_validate::initialize() should be compatible with Fuel_advanced_module::initialize($params = Array)

So is it just not 1.4 compatible? It was updated back in April for CI 3 controllers.
