Header/Body disappearing on import

So I'm working in 1.1 for the first time (worked in 0.9.3 extensively) and when I go to create pages in the Fuel CMS from views I have made in the back end and pull down the layout the header and body disappear and I am unable to import or edit. This happens for both the main layout and the layout I have created. It does not happen when I set the layout to "none."

Your help is greatly appreciated.
